Tuition fee management and online payments
Invoice, collect and send reminders without spreadsheets: Manhaj manages tuition fees in dinars, from the invoice to bank reconciliation.
Tuition fees keep a private institution running, but tracking them takes a great deal of time: invoices prepared one by one, due dates noted on paper, cheques to keep an eye on, late payments discovered too late. Manhaj brings the whole finance chain into the same tool as student management. Every invoice is linked to a student and their guardians, amounts are kept in dinars down to the millime, VAT and stamp duty are applied according to your tax regime, and every payment — cash, cheque, bank transfer or online — automatically settles the right instalment. Management tracks unpaid amounts in real time instead of waiting for the month-end close. Parents, for their part, view their invoices and pay without travelling.
Bulk invoicing and instalment plans
Issue invoices for the whole school, a grade level or a class in a single operation. Each invoice can be split into instalments (monthly or per term) that follow the payment schedule agreed with families.
Discounts and special cases
The sibling discount is applied automatically as soon as a second child is enrolled. Other discounts (scholarship, staff, goodwill) can be configured and remain traceable on the invoice.
Automatic reminders
Families are notified before each due date and reminded when a payment is late, by notification, SMS and email. Your team no longer has to call every parent and can focus on the truly difficult cases.
Tunisian online and counter payments
D17 (La Poste Tunisienne), Flouci, Konnect and ClicToPay are integrated: you only need to activate your merchant accounts. Cash, bank transfers and cheques — with tracking until they clear — are recorded at the counter.
MT940 bank reconciliation
Import your bank statement in MT940 format: Manhaj matches incoming transfers with pending invoices and shows you what still needs to be identified.
Documents and compliance
Invoices, receipts and credit notes are generated as PDFs, with VAT and stamp duty according to your regime. Parents find their documents and balance in their space, and every operation is recorded in the audit log.
Frequently asked questions — tuition fees
Which payment methods can parents use?
Cash, cheque and bank transfer at the counter, and online payment via D17, Flouci, Konnect or ClicToPay. For online payment, the school activates its own merchant accounts with these providers.
Can families pay in instalments?
Yes. An invoice can be split into several instalments, each with its own date and amount. Reminders follow these dates, and each payment settles the corresponding instalment.
How does the sibling discount work?
You set the percentage or amount of the discount. As soon as several children from the same family are enrolled, the discount is applied automatically to their invoices and shown clearly on the document.
Are VAT and stamp duty handled?
Yes. The VAT regime is suggested based on the type of institution and can be adjusted, and stamp duty is added to the relevant invoices. All amounts are kept in Tunisian dinars, down to the millime.
Can we track unpaid fees in real time?
Yes. The finance dashboard shows invoiced, collected, outstanding and overdue amounts in real time, along with the collection rate and average payment delay. You can then drill into each invoice.
