Private school management software for Tunisia
From pre-registration to the class council, Manhaj runs every part of your private school — in Arabic and French, following the Ministry of Education's rules.
Running a private school in Tunisia means juggling enrolment registers, grade books, payment receipts and dozens of phone calls from parents every day. Manhaj replaces these scattered tools with a single platform designed for the Tunisian education system: the school year is split into three terms following the Ministry of Education (MEN) calendar, report cards follow the primary, middle-school and high-school templates, and invoicing is done in dinars with VAT and stamp duty. Your management, front office, teachers and families all work from the same data, each with their own access rights, on a computer or a smartphone.
Pre-registration and student records
Families submit their application online, with supporting documents (birth certificate, photo, previous report card) automatically scanned by an antivirus. The front office approves the file, assigns the student to a class and finds the whole record — legal guardians, authorised pick-up persons, medical information — in one place.
MEN-compliant grades, averages and report cards
Teachers enter grades in a spreadsheet-style grid. Subject averages and the overall average are computed with coefficients, the class rank is set, and the term report card is generated as a PDF using the MEN template for the cycle, in Arabic or French.
Class councils and academic follow-up
Prepare the class council with averages and teacher comments already gathered, record the decisions (promotion, repeating the year, warning, commendation) and produce signed minutes. The lesson log and homework stay available to students and their parents.
Tuition fees and Tunisian payments
Invoice the whole school in one operation, offer instalment plans, apply the sibling discount automatically and let reminders go out on their own. Parents pay in cash, by cheque, by bank transfer or online via D17, Flouci, Konnect or ClicToPay.
Timetable, attendance and school life
Generate the timetable around teacher availability and rooms, then take attendance on a phone or through a QR kiosk. Parents are alerted about absences and late arrivals and can justify an absence from their own space.
Communication with families
Parent–teacher messaging, announcements, notifications and SMS: every family receives information in its own language. The parent app brings together grades, report cards, absences, timetable, canteen, transport and balances for all enrolled children.
Frequently asked questions — private schools
Does Manhaj work for primary, middle and high school?
Yes. When you create your space, you select your school's cycles; Manhaj pre-fills the grade levels, the three-term MEN calendar and the report-card template for each cycle. A school covering several cycles manages them all in one space.
Can we adapt the report card to our school?
Yes. The report-card template is configurable per school: visible columns, rank, teacher comments, distinctions, colours, number of decimals and footer. By default, the settings follow the layout expected by the Ministry of Education.
Are the canteen and school transport covered?
Yes. Canteen menus and transport routes (lines, stops, vehicles, drivers) are managed in Manhaj. Parents see the menus and bus information in their app.
Do parents have to install an app?
No: the parent space also works in a web browser. The mobile app adds push notifications, which are handy for being told right away about an absence, a new grade or an upcoming payment.
Is student data protected?
Yes. Manhaj is built for organic law 2004-63 and INPDP requirements: encryption of sensitive data, role-based access rights and a tamper-evident audit log of operations. Parents only see information about their own children.
